Goals: VSB-TUO is a university with a tradition exceeding 170 years, and is duly proud of this fact. In terms of communication, it has long sought to overcome the image of a “mining” university in “black Ostrava”. The only way to achieve this is to give the university in Ostrava new content consisting of fields such as IT, mechanical engineering, new materials, or environmental engineering.
