Goals: Der VOTUM Verband Unabhängiger Finanzdienstleistungsunternehmen in Europa e.V. ist der Branchenverband der unabhängigen Finanz- und Versicherungsvermittlungsunternehmen mit Hauptsitz in Berlin. Als solcher vertritt VOTUM die Interessen seiner Mitglieder im Rahmen nationaler und europäischer Gesetzgebungsinitiativen und bietet eine Plattform zur perspektivischen Bewertung regulatorischer Rahmenbedingungen. An die VOTUM-Mitgliedsunternehmen sind rund 100.000 unabhängige Versicherungs- und Finanzanlagenvermittler angebunden. Die Mitarbeiter und Kooperationspartner unserer Mitglieder beraten über 11 Millionen Verbraucher zu Fragen der Absicherung im Alter, der Vermögensbildung und des maßgeschneiderten Versicherungsschutzes. Der Geschäftsführende Vorstand von VOTUM, RA Martin Klein, übernahm 2020 zudem den Vorsitz im europäischen Dachverband der unabhängigen Finanzberater und Finanzvermittler FECIF.
