Mission & Interests

Goals: VOICE stands for Voluntary Organisations in Cooperation in Emergencies. It is a network representing 89 professional not-for-profit European non-governmental organisations (NGOs) active in humanitarian aid worldwide. Unlike its members, VOICE is not operational. The aim of the association shall be: o to improve the general quality, efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian aid, notably that of the European Union and its Member States as well as of the wider humanitarian community; o to promote the added value of NGOs given their key role as humanitarian deliverers and as an expression of EU public solidarity; o to strengthen organizational networking, influence and expertise in humanitarian aid. The VOICE network is recognised as the main interlocutor with the European Union on humanitarian aid based on 30 years of policy dialogue and expertise.
