Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: VITO as a Research and Technology Organisation addressing global societal challenges seeks to increase its impact by acting on and influencing EU policies, as is illustrated in this and further sections, and particularly section 12 covering our participation in relevant networks.
The main thematic policy areas where VITO is active are: 1) an economy based on sustainable use of raw materials, 2) solutions for climate adaptation and mitigation and 3) a sustainable living environment - please refer to our fields of interest in section 11.
Communication Activities: Communication and outreach activities in relation to VITO networking activities (section 12) as well as research & innovation projects within the European Commission Framework Programmes, Structural Funds, ESA and other EU R&I programmes.
