Goals: The association is a platform for people who are committed to peaceful and democratic change in Cuba after recognizing that the main cause of the suffering of the Cuban people lies in the totalitarian leadership of the Cuban Communist Party, which despises human rights. MenschenDeCuba is registered with the association number 722264 in the register of associations of the district court of Ulm. More than a formality, a clear goal of our civil society activities: The purpose of the association, in accordance with § 52, para. 2 ff. AO, is to promote international sentiment, tolerance in all areas of culture and the idea of international understanding; development cooperation with Cuba; democratic government; political education based on the norms and ideas of a constitutional democracy and help for those persecuted for political, racial or religious reasons, refugees and displaced persons.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Das EU-Parlament möge beschließen, dass die EU-Kommission, die Anwendung des Abkommens über politischen Dialog und Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Europäischen Union und ihren Mitgliedstaaten und der Republik Kuba (PDCA-Abkommen), zur überprüfen.
Gemäß Art.1 Nr. 5 des PDCA-Abkommens, bilden die Achtung der Menschenrechte und Grundfreiheiten, einen wesentlichen Bestandteil dieses Abkommens. Die aktuelle Regierung Kubas begeht eine Erhebliche Verletzung des PDCA-Abkommens, indem sie die Menschenrechte und Grundfreiheiten der Bürger auf systematischer Weise verletzt. Diese Haltung hat sich insbesondere nach den Massenprotesten vom 11.07.2021 verschärft. Gemäß Art. 85 Nr. 2 des PDCA-Abkommens, ist die EU-Kommission, vertreten - als Vertragspartei des Abkommens,- dazu berechtigt, die die Überprüfung und gegebenenfalls die Aussetzung der Anwendung des PDCA-Abkommens als geeignete Maßnahme anzuwenden.
Communication Activities: With the organization and implementation of activities and cultural events that strengthen European, German and Cuban exchange; the support and cooperation of Cuban educational, democracy and human rights promotion projects that work for the peaceful transition of Cuba from communist one-party rule to multi-party democracy, with the conception and implementation of educational and training events for people from Cuba living in Europe, as well as the initiation and coordination of assistance for politically, racially or religiously persecuted and discriminated people, refugees and their relatives in or outside Cuba.
