Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: The UK is now associated to Horizon Europe (as of 1 January 2024). The University of Cambridge also receives EU research funding through our ongoing Horizon 2020 projects. We have declared grant funding in the financial data section of our entry, but these are competitive grant projects, rather than being the specific activities covered by the Register.
The University of Cambridge submitted a response to the EU Commission’s public consultation on the future of EU Research and Innovation programmes in 2023.
Otherwise, we have no activities to influence EU legislation or policies to report.
Communication Activities: Ad hoc participation in campaigns during 2023 to support the UK Government's association to Horizon Europe: but please note these campaigns were directed at policymakers in the UK, rather than EU institutions.
