Mission & Interests

Goals: L'Università di Torino è caratterizzata da una ricerca scientifica di alto livello e da una didattica all’avanguardia, che la collocano tra le più prestigiose realtà accademiche nel panorama universitario italiano. Le strutture primarie deputate allo svolgimento delle attività di ricerca e di didattica sono i 27 Dipartimenti dislocati nelle circa 120 sedi del territorio piemontese; i corsi di studio attivati dall’Ateneo fanno capo ai Dipartimenti e per la maggior parte sono organizzati e coordinati dalle Scuole, definite dallo Statuto come strutture di raccordo con funzioni di coordinamento e razionalizzazione delle attività didattiche e formative erogate. Inoltre sono attive quattro strutture didattiche speciali, istituite dall’Ateneo anche in collaborazione con altri enti pubblici o privati per la peculiarità della formazione che impartiscono e per ragioni di particolare complessità organizzativa delle attività didattiche.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: - Horizon Europe and the foresight work on the FP10 - European Universities Alliances (discussion on the future in terms of legal entities and l/t financial sustainability); - Micro-credentials (in the field of digital and green transition) - Synergies among the different EU programmes

Communication Activities: - Participation in the events organized by the different stakeholders active in the domain of R&I and education, also with the collaboration of the MEPs - Participation in the predisposition of the position papers, within the network of stakeholders. - Coordination of WGs devoted to the deepening of the specific subjects of interest.
