Mission & Interests
Goals: Our goal is to develop the non-confessional Humanist Community by:
-taking actions, to support and coordinate actions requested by our member organisations
-taking initiatives and developing actions in cooperation with our member organisations
-organising, managing and building moral assistance for the general population, as for specific categories
-representing the non-confessional Humanist community at the governmental and third party level
The goal of the organisation is also to monitor, advocate and defend the rights of humanists, atheists, non-believers, agnosts, rationalists, scepticists and free thinkers locally, nationally, in Europe and the world by defending their interests, advocate in international institutions and promote their values of Human Rights, equality and freedom wherever a lack of these values can be observed.

Communication Activities: The Freethought Report of Humanists International is being presented together with European Humanist Federation every year to the EU leaders, through the platforms of FoRB Intergroup, the European Political Platform for Secularism in Politics, and the Art17 of the TFEU.
We are participating to art.17 TFEU activities at the Parliament and the Commission.
We helped out with the promotion of book presentation at the EPRS library, like the one of Andrew Copson recently.
We followed up closely on the EEAS Global Exchange on Religion in Society GERIS project.

We are also following up on the work of ILGA that is in the field of LGBT affairs.
We follow up on the different reports of the European Parliamentary Forum on Population & Development.
We try to come regularly to the EPP activities on FoRB.
