Goals: The University of Turku is an internationally active and attractive research university whose strength lies in high-quality, multidisciplinary research. Communication Activities: The University of Turku has been involved in EU funded research projects since the 2nd Framework Programme and during past years we have tightened the relations towards institutions and Brussels with several actions. One person is working part-time in Brussels. Researchers advocating and capacity building visits in Brussels to meet relevant stakeholders. University management have regular meetings with MEPs, European Commission and other stakeholders. An European Commission R&I days week side-event was organised. Expert consultations on relevant fields of research.
