Mission & Interests

Goals: TURKONFED (Turkish Business Confederation) is a non-governmental and nonpartisan business organization, aiming to contribute to the development of regional, sectoral and national economic policies in Türkiye. Established in 2004, TURKONFED today represents 31 federations and 363 associations with more than 60,000 companies as members. TURKONFED is a member of SMEunited, which represents over 22 million SMEs from 30 European countries. In this respect TURKONFED is a bridge between the Turkish business world and the European Union. Additionally, members from across the globe gather under TURKONFED International platform. TURKONFED has three main functions: Policy design/advocacy, capacity development and business development. 8 Commissions undertake these functions: Economic Development & Sustainability, Women in Business World, Regional Development, Sectoral Development, Youth, Education & Entrepreneurship, Digital Transformation, Green Transition and Access to Finance.
