Communication Activities: Triodos Bank engages with a wide variety of stakeholders as part of its missions to change finance. We speak at key international events, partner with others to promote concrete changes to the European financial system. We act globally via networks such as the GABV, in Europe in the Finance Impact Hub of the Club of Rome, and locally via for instance the Sustainable Finance Lab in the Netherlands. We also make our voice heard in national and European politics. We work together with others to make legislation and regulations for the financial sector more sustainable. We participate in roundtable discussions with politicians and events on the European political stage. We make concrete proposals when new legislation and regulations are being prepared, which should lead to the entire financial sector taking more account of its impact on the world around us. We also actively contribute to the energy, resources, food, social and wellbeing transitions. We want to share our 40-years expertise and knowledge of sustainable economic activities and how to finance them to help foster demanded transitions. We have published vision papers on strategic topics, such as energy & climate and food & agriculture and played a central role in climate commitments in the Netherlands, Germany and Spain.
