Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: As a publisher and events business we report on and host events exploring all aspects of EU policy-making and the activities of the European Parliament. Recent coverage has focused on the fields of health, energy, environment, transport, digital, employment and social affairs, trade and external relations. This includes recent events focused on the Data Act, the Digital Services Act, the proposed framework for the regulation of Standard-essential patents, the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, the Telecommunications Act and the pharmaceutical legislation review.
Communication Activities: Total Politics Group and its media title The Parliament magazine organises events on issues related to European politics and the legislative agenda. Our events bring together MEPs, policy-makers from across the EU institutions, stakeholders and our journalists to discuss the issues that matter at the heart of European politics.
Recent events in the European Parliament were organised by Total Politics Group/The Parliament magazine on December 7 2022 and January 24 2023 on the future of sustainable transport, March 1 2023 on rare diseases and March 22 2023 on reducing waste in packaging.
We also organise the annual MEP Awards.
