Complementary Information: Pew, an independent United States nonprofit charity created in 2002, is the sole beneficiary of seven individual trust funds established between 1948 and 1979. While Pew does accept grants and donations, Pew had no donors, other than two of our trusts, during FY23 which contributed more than 10% of Pew’s budget. The majority of remaining income for Pew’s FY23 budget came from disbursements from Pew’s other trusts and investments. Pew does not have members and does not receive membership contributions.
