In 2024 we will be focusing our work on the following areas: Digital Services act relating to transparency obligations for online platforms in respect of online advertising Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference Defence of Democracy Package Code of Practice on Disinformation We have developed risk ratings of disinformation sites and mapped existing ad tech company policies on disinformation and related content policy (and examples of infringements) and believe this information will be a useful for policy makers as they consider necessary measures as part of the DSA, and Code of Practice on Disinformation.
Communication Activities: Participation in events and stakeholder workshops on disinformation. Publishing studies and investigations on disinformation, esp. in social media. As a data-driven organisation, research lies at the core of everything we do.
