Mission & Interests

Goals: Our purpose is to equip Europe’s brewers with the tools to freely, cost-effectively and responsibly brew and market beer. In this context, The Brewers of Europe aims at raising awareness on issues where brewers’ interests are at stake and to communicate to EU policymakers, media and stakeholders alike the critical and positive role played by beer and breweries in today’s society, culture and economy. The Brewers of Europe produces, supports and promotes studies, research and initiatives on issues pertaining to the brewing industry, in a variety of areas including economic impact, social responsibility, environmental sustainability, health, food safety, trade, as well as road safety. Other activities include events, congresses, symposia and meetings involving the many stakeholders in the beer value chain and beyond.
