Main EU Legislative Proposals: 1) EU Human Rights and Democracy Country Strategy 2) EU Roadmap for Engagement with Civil Society 2018-2020 3) European Joint Strategy in support of Palestine 2017-2020 "Towards a Democratic and Accountable Palestinian State (EJS)" 4) The European Joint Strategy for Palestine 2021-2024 (The Pillars included are: 1. Democracy, Rule of Law and Human Rights 2. Governance Reform, Fiscal Consolidation and Policy 3. Sustainable Service Delivery 4. Climate Change, Access to Self-Sufficient Water and Energy Services 5. Sustainable Economic Development).
Communication Activities: ARIJ has been disseminating its broad range of expertise within the local, regional and international arenas. ARIJ provides technical and professional support for a diverse range of fields through its implementation of various developmental projects, research projects and consultancies on both the national and international levels. These fields include: Agriculture, Biodiversity, Food Security, Socioeconomic, Geo-informatics, Urbanization Monitoring, Physical Planning, Water, Environment, Climate Change Adaption and Mitigation, Information Technology and Systems, Alternative and Renewable Energy, Human Rights, Good Governance and Advocacy. ARIJ receives grants from the European Union under different programs namely: EU Peacebuilding Initiative (EUPI) East Jerusalem Fund SWIM II Horizon 2020 Program ENP CBC MED Program European Commission Humanitarian Aid Program (ECHO); European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR); Non State Actors and Local Authorities in Development Supporting the Southern Neighbourhood Partnership cities in the implementation of Sustainable Urban Demonstration Energy Projects (SUDEP) amongst others Furthermore, ARIJ follows the EU Project Management guidelines, Visibility Manual as well as the Practical Guide (PRAG).
