Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: Teyapi4peace aims at the following EU polices:
- Development/international partnerships policy,
- Common Agriculture policy,
- Education and Youth policy.
The particular focus is the EU development policy, which aims to reduce and ultimately eradicate poverty and it is central to the EU’s response to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (the 2030 Agenda). TEYAPI4Peace objectives are in line with the development policy objectives, which include fostering sustainable growth, defending human rights and democracy, achieving gender equality, promoting peace and inclusive societies and tackling environmental and climate challenges. The TEYAPI4Peace works in alignment with the 2030 Agenda to facilitate the discussions on the delivery and distribution of the development aid.
TEYAPI4Peace will work towards the implementation of the Cotonou Agreement for the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group of states, and its successor agreement – the recently concluded EU/Africa-Caribbean-Pacific Partnership Agreement.
The developing countries, even the regions in these countries, are different regarding the policy inputs, which are needed from the EU side, and of donor organisations. The particular purpose of Teyapi4peace is to participate in the meetings with EP Committee for Development DEVE, European Parliament Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament (DPAP). to raise the issues of environmental criminality in developing countries, on the orphans education and youth empowerment to keep the young African population in place, rather than to migrate to Europe. We plan significant events and campaigns, and also participate in the hearings.
