Mission & Interests
Goals: Teach For All Network is a global network of 61 independent, locally led and governed partner organizations and a global organization. Each network partner recruits and develops promising future leaders to teach in their nations’ high-need schools and communities for at least two years, and with this foundation, to work with others, inside and outside of education, to ensure all children are able to fulfill their potential. Teach For All’s global organization works to accelerate the network’s progress and increase its impact by: i. capturing and spreading learning; ii. facilitating connections; iii. accessing global resources; and iv. fostering the leadership development of network organization’s staff, teachers, and alumni. Furthering meaningful and sustainable changes is at the core of our work and priority objectives. This requires leaders who are rooted in their local culture, challenges, and opportunities and who believe in the potential of children and their communities.

Communication Activities: Since February 2021, Teach For All has taken part, as a consortium partner, in an Erasmus+ KA3 project: ‘Novice Educator Support and Training’ (NEST) that is being run over a period of 3 years. Led by Teach For Bulgaria, the NEST project draws on a consortium of 16 partners including multiple public, academic, and civil society organizations seeking to build and expand evidence of adaptive mentoring for novice teachers across the European Union.
The overall objective of the project is to design, implement, evaluate and propose a system of new adaptive mentoring for novice teachers in disadvantaged schools
In July 2021, the Erasmus+ KA3 project: 'From Innovators in Inclusive Education to Real Scale Transfer (FIERST)', led by Teach For Bulgaria and bringing together Teach For All, Teach For Romania, Noored Kooli (i.e. our partner in Estonia) and several public authorities including Ministries of Education was successfully completed.
By late 2019, Teach For All completed the following Erasmus+ KA3 funded project: ‘A New Way for New Talents in Teaching (NEWTT)’. This drew on a consortium of 15 partner organisations in Austria, Germany, Latvia, Romania, and the Basque Country (Spain). The independent impact evaluation carried out towards the end of the project implementation notably valued the relevance, innovative character and European added value of the project e.g. concluding that EU Member States’ national education and training systems should support alternative pathways into the education profession, as complementary to traditional teacher training programmes. The final project report was also positively rated by the EACEA obtaining a final quality score of 80 out of 100.
Participation in events have for instance included an alumni from Teach For Bulgaria participating in two events:
- On the CULT Committee meeting, she took part in a hearing next to Michael Teutsch, Head of Unit "Schools and multilingualism" in the European Commission's Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture.
- On the European Education Summit she was a speaker at the panel “Every Child Matters: Pathways to School Success”, speaking on a panel with Ministries of Education of Spain, Malta, Latvia, France and the President of the European Trade Union Committee for Education.
In addition, the CEO of Teach For Bulgaria participated on various EU-level panel between 2018 and 2020 and another leadership staff member taking part in the European Commission's Working Group on Schools (Pathways to School Success sub-group) in 2022 . Teach for All was also represented at the 2019 and the 2020 European Education Summits.
