Mission & Interests
Goals: The Sustainable Energy Finance Association (SEFA) is the European trade association for the sustainable energy industry. Sustainable energy is both the efficient use of energy, or energy efficiency, and renewable energy. It lies at the core of a zero net carbon economy.
Our mission is to accelerate the development and financing of sustainable energy initiatives across Europe’s built environment.
Our members are key to the long-term growth of energy efficiency and distributed renewable energy. They are innovative change makers, transforming buildings and infrastructure into efficient, clean energy users; enabling the public and private sector to achieve their energy transition targets.
SEFA’s members sit across the diverse sustainable energy ecosystem and include financial institutions, technology providers, Energy Service Companies (ESCos), building owners and operators.
