Mission & Interests
Goals: To investigate human rights violations and abuses globally, to analyse and expose governmental and non-government actions in perpetuating, supporting or ignoring human rights violations, to advocate for justice, peace and collective action against human rights violations. The strategic priorities of TLS for 2020-2025 are tackling hate speech online, and the research focus is hate speech, dis- and misinformation that lead to violations of key human rights. Given the nature of TLS as led by the Indian diaspora, strategic priorities include advocating for an EU-India strategic partnership with human rights and inclusive values at its heart.
