Goals: euPrevent is a non-profit foundation and a Euroregional network that aims to promote the quality of life of citizens in the border region of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. We focus on the establishment of sustainable, cross-border network connections between health organisations in the border region. Within this network, there is sustainable cooperation to improve the quality of life of the residents in the border region.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: euPrevent follows all EU initiatives, policies and legislative files concerning cross-border public health cooperation. Recently, euPrevent participated in: - the first Commission evaluation to assess the Directive on patients' rights in cross-border healthcare (July 2021) - the Commission public consultation concerning the creation of a European Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (May 2021)
