Mission & Interests

Goals: The aim of the foundation is to create, operate and grow as many internationally successful Hungarian startups as possible in Hungary. Through its activities, the Foundation aims to improve the transparency and international visibility of the startup ecosystem and to raise social awareness to make entrepreneurship a more attractive career. It aims to raise awareness among policy makers and legislators of the importance of this form of entrepreneurship for economic policy and to help them create an effective regulatory environment. It also aims to increase the chances of technology-based start-ups from Hungary to break into the market by channelling international knowledge, opportunities and actors, thus contributing to the growth of domestic GDP, the creation of attractive jobs, reversing the brain drain and contributing to Hungary's overall innovative growth image of Hungary.

Communication Activities: We took part in campaigns for legislative proposals, we signed 20+ papers so far, amongst which are these publications/proposals and events: Proposal - The role of public procurement in the defence of EU digital sovereignty and the twin transition, Proposal - The Data Act should be as clear and simple as a Startup Pitch, Proposal - Startup Communities Call for a European Health Data Space That Stimulates Research and Innovation, Report and event - CEE Policy Report and launch event in Prague with local decision makers and contributing partners from all around the region, Last year we attended the AFS Summit to exchange knowledge with other startup policy organisations and voted on the Allied for Startups mandate and strategy, ONE23 Startup Manifesto - we have contributed to this initiative which points to 5 specific areas that are key for startups, including Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Net Neutrality.
