Mission & Interests

Goals: Society for Threatened Peoples (STP) is an international human rights organization that advocates for threatened ethnic and religious minorities, nationalities and indigenous communities. We take sides with the victims of crimes against humanity, and we are not afraid to name the perpetrators and their accomplices. Even if victims become perpetrators themselves, we will not remain silent – because we are committed to our motto of "not turning a blind eye".

Main EU Legislative Proposals: EU-Mercusur Trade Agreement, ECHO, external affairs department, development policies and trade directory
Communication Activities: We enable indigenous peoples and/or religious, ethnic and linguistic minorities to speak in Germany or Europe, we use our consultative status at the UN ECOSOC to deliver statements and hold side-events at the United Nations, publish human rights reports and testimonies of victims. In addition, we do advocacy work at the national level, organize and conduct online-seminars and offline events. Our communication work is complemented by press releases, social media actions and podcasts.
