Mission & Interests

Goals: Our mission is to work on the promotion and dissemination of social business and its capacity to transform social needs. We do it through 4 objectives: to promote knowledge brokering between the universities and the socila business/social economy entities; the education and generation of knowledge of students and teachers in social business; to raise awareness of the importance of social business and to generate opinion and make political and social advocacy in the areas of interest of the social business.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: We are interested in all initiatives related to the social economy and social enterprises. Both at a legislative level, as support initiatives and financing of these projects. Finally, since we belong to a network of universities, we also have an interest in research projects related to the social economy. We are interested in the following programmes: Social Business Iniciative (http://ec.europa.eu/growth/sectors/social-economy/enterprises_en); H2020 programme; EASI, Erasmus+ and COSME.

Communication Activities: We participate in the assessing council of the RaiSE Interreg project (https://www.interregeurope.eu/raise/) We have an agreement with Yunus Center and we participate in the neetwork of Social Business Cities.
