Goals: SAG is an exclusive European network of airports, subsidiaries, research institutes and political actors. We work together to achieve common goals. We are a cross border group, working in the eu. Our first goal is to make airports more efficent by optimizing the IT systems. We use a cloud based solution that integrates most airport and airport operation activities in one system. This alone reduces the operational costs of the airport and supports the environment. For example: one check-in system for all carriers reduces the costs, limit the needed number of checkin counters and requires less personel training. Another example: cloud software reduces the risks of cyberattacks, business disruption and costs less energy. Optimizing processes will reduce the required energy of the operation.
