Goals: The Slovak Alliance for Innovation Economy (SAPIE) is the leading forum for policy debate on digital economy and innovation in Slovakia. Our goals is to unite and enable the potential of innovation GDP of Slovak Republic. We act as a neutral, independent and non-profit platform connecting more than 180 innovative companies. We are committed to building collaborative networks of private and public actors and advocating for innovation. Our key projects are focused on the topics of improving the entrepreneurial ecosystem, startups & scale ups, digital transformation of SMEs in the CEE region, innovations, AI, legislation and related topics.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: We believe that openness and interactions between stakeholders are the key to formulating pro-innovation policies. We act as the unifying voice of innovative companies in Slovakia in promoting an open, outward-looking and flexible legislation that serves as an enabler of innovation. We are active on a multitude of topics that effect the innovation ecosystem and digital economy, such as Digital Services, Copyright, AI, Digital Tax, Data Transfer, E-Privacy, Knowledge Economy, Digitalization, Internal Market, Entrepreneurship Promotion, etc.
