Communication Activities: Palta conducts communication activities related to the EU policies primarily on a national level in Finland. These include submissions to consultations, direct meetings with politicians and government officials, commencing studies, organizing events, writing opinions and blogs and participating in expert hearings at the Finnish parliament. Palta’s activites at the EU level have been very limited but include responding to public consultations.

Is Member Of: Palta has around 2,000 member organizations, and they are not currently listed in any publicly available source. A large part of our members conducts no activities to influence EU policies, but rather become our members due to the collective labor agreements negotiated and related legal advice provided by Palta.
