Main EU Legislative Proposals: Transposition and Implementation of the elements of the European Green Deal, in particular climate neutrality by 2050 and the European Climate Law, as well as climate and energy targets for 2030 and the reforms under "Fit for 55" and "REPowerEU", including reform of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and the Renewable Energy Directive, Regulation on gas market and climate neutral gases, in particular hydrogen, "Green Deal Industrial Plan for the Net-Zero Age", reform of electricity market design, Sustainable Finance with in particular the Taxonomy Regulation and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, application and reform of the Guidelines on State aid for climate, environmental protection and energy (CEEAG).

Complementary Information: Regarding the information annual costs related to activities covered by the register: According to the guidelines for the Register, the information on estimated annual costs attributable to activities covered by the Register includes expenses for staff including travel costs, premises and events as well as membership fees for associations. Costs also include activities of the Executive Board and staff members at other locations who spend part of their working time on EU lobbying activities.
Regarding the information on funds received from the EU bodies from the EU research and development programmes mentioned: RWE was involved in the research and development projects Biofire, Rebecca (financed in RFSC), EU-SCORES, Clara, Loter.CO2M, ADVANCEPEM, GreenDealCO2 and TakeOff (financed in Horizon 2020) and DE Rollout (financed in Interreg). In the fiscal year 2023, after accounting for offset reimbursements, EU funding totalling 1.414 mln Euro was received, partly and not only for the project year 2023.
