Goals: RUSI Europe is a not-for-profit international organisation, independent of government, and is committed to objectivity, integrity and impartiality in all of its work. RUSI Europe's mission is to leverage the Institute’s research capacities to inform policy-making at the EU, NATO and among their member states. Based in Brussels, RUSI Europe builds on the Royal United Services Institute’s almost 200 years of expertise in security and defence. RUSI Europe carries out research, provide a forum for security and defence dialogues, and is committed to help solve the most urgent security and defence challenges.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: RUSI Europe, a not-for-profit, independent international organisation committed to objectivity, integrity and impartiality, is working for a safer and stronger Europe in the world. RUSI Europe engages researchers to help solve urgent security, defence, and foreign policy challenges of interest to the European Union. To fulfill its mission, RUSI Europe seeks opportunities to leverage its evidence-based research capacities to inform policy-making at the EU institutions. RUSI Europe is focused on the following EU policy areas: defence, security, foreign policy, illicit finance, and sanctions implementation. RUSI Europe has been selected by European Commission Directorate-Generals to implement EU projects on many of the aforementioned issues.

Communication Activities: RUSI Europe AISBL implements several EU projects for different Directorate-Generals of the European Commission and the European External Action Service. These projects often include provisions in their terms of reference regarding communications on a project level. RUSI Europe amplifies the communications on the projects through its own website and social media channels.
