Main EU Legislative Proposals: The RSPO follows EU activities related to palm oil and other deforestation-risk commodities, including the European Commission's action plan on deforestation and related activities in the Parliament. Mandatory due diligence for deforestation and social corporate due diligence. Packaging and labelling, farm to fork and other initiatives that touch the agricultural supply chains.
Communication Activities: Regular interaction with policymakers, media etc. to provide input on sustainable palm oil, its relevance and opportunities.
