Mission & Interests
Goals: The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung (RLS) is one of the major political education institutions in Germany, affiliated with a German party which is Die Linke, with branches in many countries worldwide.
The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation aims to:
. Organize political education and disseminate information on the social relations governing our globalized world
. Provide a venue for critical analysis while serving as both a hub for programmatic discussions around a modern conception of democratic socialism as well as a socialist think tank generating political alternatives
. Serve as a forum in Germany and abroad fostering dialogue between socialist forces, movements, and organizations, left-minded intellectuals, and non-governmental organizations

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: The Brussels Office works on alternative strategies of European integration, concepts for economic democracy and services of public interest, approaches to participatory and multicultural democracy, and peace-policy projects. The office follows the EU proposals or policies linked to our programs such economy and trade policy, industrial, mobility and transport policy, social and migrants’ rights, or climate justice. These include the European pillar of social rights, the European Green Deal, the European Stability and Growth Pact, European Structural Funds, Next Generation EU funds, Foreign and Security Policy, Free Trade Agreements such as between the EU and ASEAN or the Bilateral Trade and Investment Agreement between the EU and India.
Communication Activities: Our communication activities revolve around online and offline events, such as panel discussions, expert roundtables, film projections, trainings and a visitors’ programs.
