Mission & Interests
Goals: The Organic Mineral Water Association was founded by a community of people committed to sustainability and production of high-quality beverages. The association's primary objective is to ensure the quality of organic mineral water and organic spring water as well as to develop a standard for the ecological quality of these waters and the products created from them. All of the products created according to these standard would be designated with a seal of quality. Organic mineral water is characterised as a product of the soil managed according to organic agricultural principles. Therefore bottlers of organic mineral water become "organic water farmers" (caretakers of the soil).
The Organic Mineral Water Association works towards:
- an EU regulatory framework better adapted to organic mineral water
- clear and truthful consumer information on organic mineral water
- recognition of organic mineral water
- organic mineral water as a seal of quality
