Main EU Legislative Proposals: At PwC, we find it important to play a constructive role in the debates shaping auditing, corporate reporting, tax legislation and corporate governance around the world. We see our role as one to help inform the debate, bring our expertise and perspectives to the table, and ask questions to help advance discussions. Focal EU legislative proposals and policies (not exhaustive): European Commission initiative on reducing corporate reporting requirements by 25%, implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, including European sustainability reporting standards, European Commission consultation on Corporate reporting (governance, audit, supervision), European Commission delegated act on conducting independent audits under the Digital Services Act, proposed Directive on Transfer Pricing, proposed Directive on Business in Europe: Framework for Income Taxation.
