Mission & Interests

Goals: Our goal is to generate the means for women’s funds to support women, girls, and trans* people to determine how they want to succeed while creating the conditions in which they are able to thrive. As the global hub of women’s funds, Prospera seeks to create opportunities for greater collaboration between our members and across sectors, develop technical skills and knowledge, and mobilise resources to strengthen and support women’s funds to realise women’s rights. The Prospera Network currently brings together 47 autonomous and independent women's funds. Members are based in 33 countries and provide grants in over 172 countries, their scopes can be national, regional or international.
