Mission & Interests

Goals: Portbase (2002) is a subsidiary of the ports of Amsterdam (25%) and Rotterdam (75%) and appointed as the implementing body of both ports for managing the digital port infrastructure and core processes in the ports. Portbase is a non-profit organization, operates cost-based and has a neutral position in the port community. She manages the Dutch Port Community System and connects all parties in the logistical chains making processes in the ports more efficient. Portbase facilitates the exchange of data between companies and the exchange of information with government authorities in order to allow everyone to work faster, more efficiently and at lower cost. Together with our growing community and as a founding member of IPCSA, we are continually adding value to this data sharing. Our goal is to make the Dutch ports the smartest in Europe.
