Mission & Interests
Goals: Politecnico di Torino was founded in 1906. It has a yearly budget of about 300 M€ and over 38,700 students, including 5.000 international from more than 120 countries, on a wide catalogue of degree courses featuring 16 PhD and 30 MSc courses of which 60% in English. POLITO international education network features about 463 bilateral agreements and 130 double-degree agreements with EU and non-EU universities. Moreover, it is part of some of the major EU interuniversity networks, such as CESAER, CLUSTER, EUA, Magalhaes. Each year POLITO draw up about 800 contracts with industries, government funded institutions, local organizations. The participation to many national and international projects allows PoliTO to accrue a great experience: it has about 568 international and national funded projects, among which in H2020 it has 268 approved projects with a total EU contribution of 104M€ and in Horizon Europe it has 123 approved projects with a total EU contribution of 41M€.
