Communication Activities: Plato Partnership key aims are to:
1. reduce trading costs 2. improve market efficiency 3. simplify market structure and 4. act as a champion for end investors.
Plato operates conferences and forums free to all market participants aimed at generating discussions regarding key market structure issues with the aim of identifying issues and opportunities to improve equity market structure and develop solutions in cooperation with industry providers that benefit all participants.
Plato’s Market Innovator (MI3) sponsors independent academic research and analysis to identify better ways of executing trades, lowering costs and improving the quality of processes required to support the execution lifecycle.
Plato will enter into different partnerships with industry providers such as Turquoise, Urvin Compliance and BMLL Technologies that are best placed to deliver innovative solutions to achieve Plato’s objectives. All partnerships will be complimentary with one another to address issues and opportunities that cover the entire trade lifecycle.
