Mission & Interests

Goals: PartNET Association - Partnership For Sustainable Development is a Romanian legal person of private law, having a non-patrimonial, non-profit purpose and a non-governmental, apolitical and independent nature. The Association’s mission is to contribute to a sustainable economic, social and cultural development at a local, regional, national and international level, in rural and urban environment. The Association has implemented over more than 50 projects co-financed by the European Union from which some of them were selected as success stories. Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: -PartNET involvement in the ECoPP (European Community of Practice on Partnership:https://www.eu-community-on-partnership.eu/) is in the activity carried out in subgroup 1:Complementarity of funds and the Partnership Principle, has as main purpose the activity regarding the selection of successful projects carried out by different actors and stakeholders from member states, to analyze them and to extract a set of good practices that can be implemented also in less developed member states. The results that ECoPP aim to achieve are: facilitate exchange of experience with partnership; stimulate capacity building; disseminate relevant outcomes, in particular good practice and innovative approaches; review the existing European Code of Conduct and prepare proposals for its update for 2021-2027 period. -The Platform of the local communities along the Danube - Founder Member (https://houseofeurope.ro/CLDR/) Polices targeted related with: the generation of a new central-southeast European economic axis; a better stimulation of the business environment, especially of entrepreneurship education initiatives at the Danube level; reinforcement of economic security by focusing existing and in development economic resources; expanding cooperation in order to develop the Danube energy corridor; building of a new urbanistic future of Danube Region -Danube region European Strategy - PA9-PEOPLE AND SKILLS - Active Member (https://peopleandskills.danube-region.eu/). Priority Area 9 „People and Skills“ is focusing on policies and actions in the fields of education and training, labour market and marginalised communities and contributes to the pillar „Building Prosperity“.. -Black Sea - Danube Regional Network - Member (https://www.cldr.ro/membri/). The EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) was adopted by the European Commission in 2010 and was endorsed by the European Council in 2011. The Strategy is both about more efficient funding and closer cooperation in the region. The EUSDR covers a territory that stretches from the Black Forest (Germany) to the Black Sea (Romania-Ukraine-Moldova) and is home to approx. 115 million people. -PartNET represented Romania in Brussels, on behalf of the National Advisory Committee, in the European Network ESF "Career and Age", being an active member in developing recommendation to the European Commision on the network (www.careerandage.eu/); -Member of the monitoring committee of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan -PNRR: https://mfe.gov.ro/pnrr/). PNRR is designed to ensure an optimal balance between the European Union's priorities and Romania's development needs, in the context of the recovery after the COVID-19 crisis that significantly affected the country -PartNET, as a key player, was requested by the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Protection and the Elderly (https://mmuncii.ro/j33/index.php/ro/), which benefited from World Bank consultancy, to participate in the elaboration of the National Strategy for Promoting Active Aging and Protection of the Elderly 2014-2020. -PartNET is part of the consultations for the development of a strategic framework and an operational plan for reproductive health in Romania 2020-2030, organized by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization. The Association is also part of the partnership structures related to the Operational Programs and the Partnership Agreement 2021-2027
