Goals: Paptic Ltd is an innovation and growth company that provides market with commercially viable solution to replace the use of fossil-based plastic film in packaging. Paptic's innovation is a wood-fibre based packaging material that is resource efficient, thin, flexible and recyclable-at-scale with fibre-based packaging materials according to circular economy principles.
Replacing plastic with Paptic is easy, as Paptic can be taken to use with those packaging lines that earlier have used plastic film, while conventional papers do not run on those. Paptic scale-up is made through utilising the current asset network i.e. contract manufacturing in Europe and Asia. Paptic's impact through replacing plastics is realised as significant amount of avoided emissions and reduced use of plastic, and hence potential plastic waste and potential source of microplastics.
