Goals: The Open Source Business Alliance – Federal Association for Digital Sovereignty (OSB Alliance) represents more than 200 companies from the open source industry that together employ around 95,000 employees and generate more than 126.8 billion euros in annual revenues in Germany. Scientific institutions and software users are also part of our association. Together we are committed to further open source software and open standards for a digitally sovereign society.
The digital transformation should benefit companies, governments, public administrations and citizens alike. We advocate that open source should be established as the standard in public procurement and in research and business development. To work towards these goals we offer our expertise and knowledge to companies, private individuals, the media and politicians.
