Goals: IN4climate.NRW is an interdisciplinary and cross-industry working platform founded and funded by the ministry of economic affairs of the German federal state North Rhine-Westphalia. In 2022, IN4climate.NRW has been integrated into the newly founded NRW.Energy4Climate GmbH. Its work focusses on climate protection in all energy-intensive industry sectors, especially steel and non-ferrous metals, chemistry, cement and lime, glass, and paper. In IN4climate.NRW, the most important players from these industries are working together with renowned research institutes and political representatives to discuss breakthrough innovations and transition strategies for a climate-neutral industry 2050. IN4climate.NRW is a member of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance.
