Goals: North Sea Port is the result of a merger between the Dutch Zeeland Seaports (Vlissingen and Terneuzen) and the Flemish/Belgian port of Ghent. The shareholders are involved and informed by means of a shareholders' committee. North Sea Port is a Top European port: no. 10 among European seaports (measured in volume of goods), no. 7 in the Hamburg - Le Havre range (measured in volume of goods) and no. 3 for added value (in the amount of 12.5 billion euros).

Communication Activities: We are involved in many (cross-border related) projects. One project which could serve as an example of implementation of TEN-T policy through CEF funding is Rail Ghent Terneuzen (www.railghentterneuzen.eu). The implementation study has been funded through the CEF program (2016-EU-TA-0174-S). But there are also relevant key projects related to TEN E such as several CO2 transport projects in the North Sea Port area. These are projects that can serve as key projects for funding under the CEF Energy.

- from CEF Energy for the project Ghent Carbon Hub, of which the GA was signed in May 2023. The amount awarded to North Sea Port Flanders was € 201.950 and is part of a total amount of € 9,59 million for the total project (distributed among several partners).
- from CEF Transport for the project Rail Ghent Terneuzen, of which the GA was signed in October 2023. The amount awarded to North Sea Port was € 227.417 and is part of a total amount of CEF Transport grant of 3.367.083 euros (to be distributed among several partners).
