Mission & Interests
Goals: MPP is a non-profit organisation, supporting the decarbonization of seven of the hardest-to-abate sectors in manufacturing and transportation. MPP, in collaboration with industry players, has defined 1.5-aligned decarbonisation roadmaps that establish the actions necessary by 2030 to achieve net zero by 2050. Currently, our work is focused on unlocking projects in industrial hubs across these sectors. MPP was established to act as a bridge between industry leaders, governments, and NGOs, and continues its work under the umbrella of cross-sector governance with non-profit and industry leaders on the board, in the organization, and as active partners in our work. MPP is also host of secretariat of the Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA), a global multistakeholder initiative seeking to drive down emissions across heavy industry and transport.

Complementary Information: The cost estimate shown under Heading 14 c is low in comparison to the Personnel currently involved estimate shown under heading 10. This is because the cost estimate corresponds to our activities within scope of the register during our last financial year closed. During this period, we had very limited activities in this area.
Conversely, our Personnel involved figure reflects the most-up-to-date figure for the number of individuals involved in relevant activities. Since the last financial year closed, we have dedicated more resources towards our work on activities under the register (meetings, preparing policy and position papers etc.). Our cost estimate will be updated following the next financial year's closure.
