Mission & Interests
Goals: Mercitalia Logistics è la sub-holding operativa del Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, controlla direttamente le altre società del Polo Logistica, definendo la strategia e il coordinamento.
Dal gennaio 2017 opera con la mission di rilanciare il business delle merci del Gruppo FS, sviluppando soluzioni integrate di trasporto merci e logistica che permettano di valorizzare la modalità ferroviaria.
La componente ferroviaria del business, razionalizzata, efficientata e migliorata nella qualità di servizio, sarà una delle competenze distintive del Polo Logistica che concentrerà attenzione e risorse su grandi corridoi di traffico transalpino da/per l’Italia, interconnessioni tra le principali aree economiche ed i maggiori porti, relazioni di traffico tra poli industriali e commerciali del nostro Paese e dei Paesi europei, ampliamento della presenza lungo la catena del valore, a monte ed a valle della trazione ferroviaria.
