Goals: The Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) is a national trade association based in Washington, DC providing educational and advocacy assistance to innovative and entrepreneurial medical technology companies. Since 1992, MDMA has been the voice for medical technology innovation, playing a proactive role in helping to shape policies that impact the ecosystem. This is accomplished by working with key Members of Congress, senior staff at FDA, CMS and other agencies, and through the grassroots support of our members. MDMA's Mission: MDMA's mission is to promote public health and improve patient care through the advocacy of innovative, research-driven medical device technology. MDMA Advocacy: MDMA plays a proactive role in helping to shape policy that impacts the medical device innovator.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Medical device-related EU policymaking, regulatory and legislative activities on behalf of MDMA members
Communication Activities: MDMA holds monthly EU/International related teleconference calls and/or zoom calls and circulates a monthly newsletter on the latest developments regarding EU/International policymaking developments. MDMA periodically hosts member meetings with speakers from the EU and occasionally attends conferences or visits EU policymakers, such as the EU Commission, in Europe.
