Mission & Interests

Goals: MADE is an independent association and national cluster that aims to facilitate the development of innovative world-class manufacturing solutions in Danish industry, enabling Danish companies to compete globally and create employment within Denmark. MADE achieves its goals through the development of strategic partnerships between research institutes and industry, to deliver state of the art manufacturing technology, leadership, operating models and education. MADE consists of more than 200 large and small manufacturing companies, five universities, three RTO's and is supported by private foundations and associations. MADE welcomes all production companies, education institutes and other interested parties who wish to develop Denmark's manufacturing capabilities.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: MADE is a non for profit organisation focusing on the practical implementation of research in industry through innovation and education. MADE follows the European discussions regarding the strengthening of the European manufacturing industry, for example Digitalization of industry and the development of Advanced Manufacturing capabilities.

Communication Activities: MADE is a Digital Innovation Hub, a member of the Factories of the Future program (EFFRA), a KET-centre and a participant in Horizon 2020 projects such as ADMA Trans4mers. Furthermore MADE is partner in two Europen Digital Innovation Hubs with focus on production companies.
