https://www.facebook.com/detipoisk
The goal of «Missing Children’s Search Service» is to protect children from any form of violence, to combat child neglect and homelessness, to support family reunification and ensure family environment for every child.
All these years we work in cooperation with the Police and media, volunteers and NGOs to search for missing children in Ukraine, as well as to support parents and relatives of missing children.
Furthermore, we operate in Ukraine a call center of the European hotline for missing children 116 000 which works in 32 European countries according to the European standards and in accordance with the EU Directive 2009/136/EC of European Parliament. Over past years, our organization has managed to save more than 2,000 missing children (including in Europe), and we constantly provided psychological and legal support to parents and relatives of missing children.
Since the beginning of full-scale invasion on 24th of February 2022, Ukraine has faced new challenges: on one side - millions of refugees (internally displaced or fleeing Ukraine) with children, on the other - periodic absence of mobile connection, impossibility for parents to report to Police on search for missing children, general panic.
We didn’t stop our work and developed additional on-line tools to give parents and relatives possibility to contact us online on cases of missing children. Since 24th of February, we have received more than 2600 request of help to search for missing children and to reunite families. We do everything in our power to reunite missing children with their families.
