Mission & Interests

Goals: Lindholmen Science Park AB is jointly owned by Chalmers University of Technology, the City of Gothenburg and the business community. Lindholmen is the host of several of Sweden’s leading development programs in the field of transport, ICT, visualization and AI. Without private gain, Lindholmen Science Park AB strives toward the vision to strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness with focus on future mobility for people and goods through two parallel assignments. One is to develop the ecosystem within Lindholmen Science Park’s geographical area and the second is to run programs and activities promoting innovation and research. Lindholmen Science Park AB hosts several national and regional programmes including CLOSER, Drive Sweden, Triple-F, AI Sweden, PICTA, Mobility X-Lab amongst others. All of which are externally steered and governed by partners and stakeholders.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Horizon Europe Initiatives and roadmaps from ERTRAC, ALICE, STRIA, POLIS, CCAM, 2ZERO

Communication Activities: One important task for Lindholmen Science Park AB and its programs is to arrange conferences and events. Every year, a number of events are arranged, primarily in Sweden. Furthermore, several programmes are active in supporting more national organisations to take part in EU-collaborations to support a diversity of aspects and types of organisations in joint-EU initiatives.
