Main EU Legislative Proposals: LaLiga is interested and contributes with its experience and knowledge to European sports policy as well as to the audiovisual policy, competition policy, internal market policy and educational policy. Main files followed include: Digital Services Act Proposal for a Regulation (Document COM(2020) 825 final), Proposal for a Regulation on harmonised rules on fair access to and use of data (Document COM(2022)68), Proposal laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (Document COM(2021)206), Proposal for a Regulation on the sustainable use of plant protection products (Document COM(2022)305), Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence and amending Directive (EU) 2019/1937 (Document COM/2022/71 final), European Parliament resolution of 13 December 2023 on the implementation of the 2018 Geo-blocking Regulation in the digital single market (2023/2019(INI)), Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down measures to strengthen solidarity and capacities in the Union to detect, prepare for and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents, European Parliament Resolution on Virtual worlds – opportunities, risks and policy implications for the single market, among others.
