Goals: L'Empreinte is the editor of the PEFtrust™ web platform : PEFtrust™ is a B2B service solution available for fashion brands to assess the environmental footprint of Apparel & Footwear products and accessories. L'Empreinte promotes the use of the PEF method to evaluate the environmental footprint of A&F products. We have integrated the Apparel & Footwear PEF Category Rules in our proprietary PEFtrust™ product evaluation algorithm. Our goal is to deliver science-based, standardized and comparable product LCA results to fashion and consumer product brands, in accordance with the PEFCRs.

Info Members: L'Empreinte works with companies in France and accross the EU to promote the use of PEF to substantiate environmental claims and lower the environmental footprint of consumer products. We are following closely the developments around the PEF/OEF method, the PEFCR Apparel & Footwear, as well as other PEFCRs and OEFSRs. Accessing standardized and quality data is key in achieving our ambition. We are therefore highly interested and motivated in joining and positively contributing to the work of the Environmental Footprint Technical Advisory Board (E03710) Data Working Group.
